The 200-seat Jefferson Theatre was opened by 1939. On September 11, 1948, Boxoffice reported, “Bob Halliday of Albany has purchased the Jefferson Theatre from M. E. Weeks and has announced plans for remodeling the house, including new seats and screen equipment.
The 1950 Film Daily Year Book’s theater list included the Jefferson Theatre, in Jefferson OR, with 100 seats. It was still open in 1956, but had closed by 1957.
