The 1914 Sanborn shows a theater operating in an old 2-story storefront across the street from the courthouse. This building was constructed at 109 S. 2nd Street sometime before 1885, and had previously housed a saloon.
The theater was short-lived, and the 1922 map shows the structure as offices, which is the current use. The street numbers were changed around 1922.
