On June 2, 1951, Billboard wrote, “New Famous Players Canadian Corporation’s Golden West Drive-In Theater opened at Moose Jaw, Sask., May 16, under management of Otis Bowes. Built at a cost of $100,000, the spot accommodates 400 cars and has a children’s playground”.
The 1955 Motion Picture Almanac included Moose Jaw’s Golden West Drive-In, capacity 330, owner Famous Players.
