The Corona Picture Theatre opened in 1922 and by the mid-1940’s it was the Corona Theatre. By 1950 it had been re-named Avon Theatre and was operated by the Clifford Theatres Circuit. By 1956 they had re-named in Avon-Star Theatre. It was closed in 1965 and later demolished.
By 2008 it became the site of a bakery named Country Bakehouse.
