Park Theatre

The Arris Theatre opened on January 24, 1910 on N. Main Street, facing the Square. It became the first Park Theatre in town on August 29, 1918 and was remodeled in 1924. It was closed in 1929 when the building was torn down to be replaced by the Richland Bank Tower.

Here is an item about the Park Theatre from the September 13, 1924 issue of Moving Picture World:

“The Park Theatre, Mansfield, Ohio, controlled by a local company of which W. A. Partello is the executive head, has been entirely remodeled. The entire gallery has been removed and the balcony enlarged.”

It opened as Arris on January 24th, 1910, and reopened as Park on August 29th, 1918, and closed or stopped placing ads in the newspapers in 1924. Grand opening ads posted.
