An ‘Electric Theatre’ appears on the 1907 Sanborn, next door to the Grand Opera House. It is unclear whether this was the name, or a designation. This structure was originally built between 1892 and 1895 as a store. The structure was a single story, and on the 1907 map, a small room at the back (likely intended as a storeroom) is still present. This has disappeared by 1913, suggesting that the original setup was a hasty conversion.
Unfortunately, the 1926 map is completely illegible, so it’s unclear when this closed. The building later received an ugly slipcover, and became a thrift store. It was demolished in February 2024.
