Located in the imposing Knights of Pythias Building, designed by African-American architect John C. Norman Sr. The Grand Theatre was opened in 1922 and closed around 1927. It was converted into a hospital, which closed in the early-1980’s. The building stands vacant in September 2019 and is still vacant in 2026.
