The May 8, 1948 issue of Boxoffice reported, “CEDAREDGE, COLO. - The Mesa Theatre, a 300-seater, has been opened in a converted business building here by Pete Lavato”.
The 1950 Film Daily Year Book listed both the Mesa Theatre (300 seats) and the Cedaredge Theatre (200 seats) in the tiny town of Cedaredge (then reported to have a population of 556).
On July 11, 1960, Boxoffice wrote that the Mesa Theatre had been closed and was being dismantled.
