Located in the Rock Forest district to the southwest of Sherbrooke. The Cinéma 9 cinema opened on May 16th, 1997 by Action-Film. It was taken over by Galaxy Cinemas, who expanded it to 12 screens and renamed it Cinéma Sherbrooke Galaxy in 2004. In 2005 it became part of Cineplex Entertainment.
