On July 4, 1953, Boxoffice reported, “Harry Plunkett returned from Bridger, Mont., where he attended opening of the new 500-car Rim Rock Drive-In Theatre owned by Ken Brown”.
The 1955 Motion Picture Almanac listed the “Rimrock” with a capacity of 300 cars, owned by K. D. Brown. By the late-1960’s it had been renamed Hillside Drive-In and was still open in 1970.

Boxoffice, Feb. 13, 1954: “The Rimrock Drive-In was sold at a sheriff’s sale to Aldrich and Co. and Marshall Wells. The business will be resold to settle the bills due these two firms and other local business firms.”
The closest address is 1349 Selms Rd, Bridger, MT 59014. It was located opposite this address with the rocky cliffs behind it, hence the name of Rim Rock. It can be seen in 1957 and 1976 topo maps. There’s now a residence on the property.
I’d guess that the drive-in eventually changed its name to the Hillside Drive-In, which advertised in the 1968 and 1969 editions of the Bridger High School yearbook, the Scout. The 1970 edition had an ad for the “Hellside Drive-In,” a typo that the undersigned Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Jares and Family probably didn’t like.

Google Maps has updated their addresses and this puts it right on the property.
Today, the property is a private residence with no trace of the drive-in remaining.
