On August 4, 1951, Boxoffice reported, “C. G. Reed and A. B. Bettinger have purchased the Twentynine Palms Theatre”.
The 1951 Film Daily Year Book listed the 29 Palms Theatre with 250 seats. It was still open in 1957.
