The Pacific Santa Fe Springs Theatre opened on August 19, 1983 with “Yor” in No. 2 and “Easy Money” in No. 3. Cinema No. 1 opened on August 21, 1983 with “La Pintada” and “Perro Callejero II”, both in Spanish. On July 7, 1994 it was taken over by new operators and was renamed American Family Cinemas. It closed in 2008.
