Dixi Filmtheater

Located in the Wandsbek district of Hummelsbuettel to the northeast of the city. The Ulta Lichtspiele was opened in 1951 with 240 seats and was operated by Harald Becker. It was damaged by fire in 1954 and was closed. It was repaired in 1955 and re-opened having been re-named Dixi Filmtheater with the seating capacity reduced to 139. The Dixi Filmtheater was operated by Dixi Filmtheater GmbH Dr. Heyer. The FP 6 projectors and the sound system were by Phillips. A short time later in was re-named Helios Lichtspiele. In 1958 the Helios Lichtspiele was closed.

It re-opened again as the Dixi Filmtheater but was closed again later in 1958.
