Fama Kino #1

Located in the Altona district of Lurup in the west side of the city. The Fama Kino #1 was opened in 1959. The name of the theatre was short for Familie Mallesch (family Mallesch). The FH99 projectors were by Hoepfner. The CinemaScope screen had a size 12.7 x 6 metres. The last screening was in February 1971 and the Fama Kino #1 was closed and demolished.

A new Fama Kino #2 was built at the opposite side of the street at Luruper Hauptstrasse 247 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
