Central Theater

Located in the Altona district of Alton Altstadt to the west of the city. The Central Theater was opened in 1908 and was operated by Colm, Peemoller, Hole & Giesskemmer. The architects were Schmidt & Liedke. In 1931 the cinema was equipped with a Tobis/Klangfilm sound system. The Central Theater was closed in 1943, possibly due to conditions during World War II.
