The Majestic Theatre was opened by 1932. Around 1940 it was renamed Capitol Theatre. It was still open in 1943.

This theatre was previously known as the Majestic.
Odeon Theatres Canada was its later operator. The Capitol Theatre was renamed the Odeon Theatre during the early-1960s. It was closed on March 21, 1985, and the entire building collapsed in 2002.
