Novo Cinemas Mall of Qatar

The Middle East’s enthusiasm for “Avengers: End Game” seems to match the rest of the world. Novo Cinema Mall of Qatar began screening the film on April 25, 2019, and continuing through the weekend it was shown more than 40 to 50 times a day on most of its 19 screens.

Novo Cinema opened in Ar-Rayyan Qatar in December 2016 with a 530-seat IMAX laser, MX4D auditorium, kids screen, and eight lanes of bowling. Other amenities include in-theatre dining, a VIP lounge, and personal butler service.

Founded in 2014, Debbie Stanford-Kristiansen of Novo Cinemas was named 2018 Middle East female CEO of the year and in 2019 was included in the top 30 most influential women in the Arab world.

In 2019 Novo Cinemas had four locations in Qatar and five others in Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
