Jackson and McKinnon brought the first facility designed for photoplays to Livingston on May 5, 1911. Clem F. “Cap” Fain took on the theatre. When a new theatre opened, Fain remodeled the Happy Hour Theatre relaunching on May 1, 1914 before moving on to a new location in town.

Fain bought the new Livingston Theatre changing its name to the Fain Theatre and would acquire the Texan Theatre. This location would become the White Kitchen Restaurant.
