Hondo Drive-In

The Hondo Drive-In opened September 23, 1950. It was built by Ray Jennings. By 1955 it was operated by Gidney Talley. The theater closed in 1960. At one time the property had a small mobile home park on it, but it has since been removed. The foundation of concession building is still visible from the aerial view. A small engine repair shop is on the front of the property. The business is using the old marquee for it’s business signage.
