V.E. Hamm who had three theatres in Wichita Falls leased the former White Rose Cafe in downtown Electra converting it to the new Roxy Theatre. The Roxy Theatre launched on November 22, 1939 likely on a 10-year lease. Within months, Hamm listed his theatres for sale selling them in 1940 to Bob Montgomery and Jack McCollum. They, in turn, sold the Roxy Theatre to the Grand Theatre and Liberty Theatre owner Martha McSpadden in 1941. The theatre is not mentioned after 1948.
In 2019 it is Goldsmith’s Drugstore.
