PVR Cinemas Marketcity

Located in Marketcity, Mumbai, PVR Cinemas opened in November 2012. Marketcity contains about all of the international brands from Calvin Klein to Krispy Kreme.

Included are a 4DX (144 seats) auditorium, a PXL extra large screen, an IMAX, and a Playhouse auditorium for kids.

Films are screened in Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, and English with no subtitles.

PVR notes they were founded in 1997 and are the “largest and most premium film exhibition company in India.” In 2019 they had 748 screens at 161 locations in 64 cities.
