Located in the Arcade Building next to the Lincoln Inn, the Arcade Theatre was listed on the Sanborn Maps of 1915 and the American Motion Picture Directory 1914-1915.
As reported in the Times News, a fire struck the Arcade building September 24, 1918, causing $3,000 ($50,000 in 2019) in damages. Later maps show the Arcade Building was rebuilt without the theatre.
On April 6, 1920, Adam Schubert opened the Schubert Theatre, now Gooding Cinema, across and down the street.
