Three different films set the tone for the opening of the Banquet Cinema Pub on February 13, 2019. The choices were “Sleepless in Seattle” from 1993, Spike Lee’s "BlackkKlansman”, and just in time for Valentines Day, "Isn’t It Romantic”.
Owners Hunter Wheat and Lacey Pritchard retained Gardner Architects to convert a former auto dealership into two 75-seat screening rooms.
According to Newsok, the pub is located in the front showroom while the cinemas were carved out two rear garage bays.
With an extensive menu and drinks, the pub has nine televisions and a projector screen for sports and other events such as the Oscars. With only a short lifspan of six months it was temporary closed in August 2019 and still closed in December 2019.
