Orpheum Theatre

The Idaho Republican noted on December 1, 1911, the old Crescent Theatre had been remodeled by Mrs. Chalmers and was reopening as the Orpheum Theatre. The attraction was “Dumas’ famous play “The Three Musketeers”. There would also be a film each week.

It closed in July 1915 because Mrs. M.E. Boyd, Miss Evelyn Boyd and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boyd, were opening the New Orpheum Theatre at 135 Bridge Street on September 8.

It was previously called the Crescent Theatre and both were listed in the American Motion Picture Directory 1914-1915.

In 2019 the building was occupied by Mr. Pizza.
