The 11-screen Plaza Carolina opened November 8, 2018 in a space formerly occupied by Sports Authority. It was noted that CineVista, which closed in 2008, was at a different location.
The 1,500 seats are in auditoriums that contain IMAX, 3D, CXC (Caribbean Cinemas Extreme) and 4DX screens. They play mainstream American movies with Spanish language subtitles.
Other amenities are two party rooms, game room, and cafe.
