Located in South Bank (sometimes known as South Bank on Tees), North Yorkshire, 3 miles east of Middlesborough city centre. The Majestic Cinema was opened around 1931 when it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. It had a 20ft wide proscenium. By 1954 it was operated by the E.J. Hinge Circuit. They were still the operators in 1963, but by 1966 it was independently operated. It had closed by 1980.
