The Cinephone Le Petit Journal was opened as a newsreel cinema on 21st October 1936. By May 1944 it had been re-named Cinephone Elysees and was programming feature films. It was renamed Broadway by 1946 and was renovated in 1956 to the plans of architect Georges M. Peynet with 440-seats. It was still open in 1975, but had closed by 1985. By 2018 it is a Gap clothing store.
