Located in the Vegueta district to the south of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The Multicines Monopol opened in 1998 and programmes foreign & independent films, many in their original language versions. Every spring it hosts the Las Palmas Film Festival. It is a member of the Europa Cinemas Group.
