Located north of Palantine Bridge, near Nelliston, NY. The Chief Drive-In Theater opened on May 2, 1952 and was operated by Hallenbeck & Riley. The Chief Drive-In was closed in 1955. Located where Bimbo Bakeries is now located.

The address for this theater was 67 Main St E, Palatine Bridge, NY 13428 per NY Drive Ins. This points to next to the bakery.

From the Obituary of Donald Hallenbeck:

he opened the Indian Ladder Drive-In Theater in Voorheesville and in 1958 the Chief Drive-In in Canajoharie.

The year is off on this because other records show it open in the early 1950’s
