St. Fintan's Hall

Located in Mountrath, County Laois. The St. Fintan’s Hall was showing films by 1942 and also hosted boxing tournaments and plays, along with providing snooker facilities in the 1950’s. It is unclear whether the church or private enterprise provided the shows, as is when the screenings ceased.

Both the hall and snooker club are still operating out of the hall at present. I’ve uploaded an interior picture of the hall.
