Located in Castlerea, County Roscommon. The Castle Cinema opened around 1953 and was owned by John Kelly, although it was sold to Billy Molloy in 1955. During the 1960’s it hosted regular bingo sessions, concerts and pantomimes. The closure date is uncertain not helped by a lack of advertising. The building has since been demolished.
