St. Nicholas Hall

Located in Dundalk, County Louth. Following in the footsteps of Father Stokes and the Reverend Campbell at the Magnet Cinema, the Reverend MacDonald began screening films in the hall in June 1951. The hall was fitted with an RCA sound system and was capable of holding at least 600 people. This seems to have continued until at least closure on 31st December 1969. The hall is still used for other purposes.

Films began in June 1951 not long after the hall opened and ended when the hall closed as a cinema on 31 December 1969.

The now-cult Ed Wood movie Plan 9 from Outer Space had screened in this cinema under an alternative title as Vampires from Venus
