Located in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary. The Park View Cinema opened in 1919 and was run by Patrick McGrath for much of its entirety. It was later fitted with a Western Electric(WE) sound system and had 400 seats. Like many small rural cinemas it was also used for meetings and lectures. The cinema closed for alterations in 1947 but does not appear to have screened any films from there on, just the odd play or two, and was described as disused in 1952. McGrath, who had later acquired the Castle Cinema in the town and also built the National Theatre in Thurles, died in 1955 aged 70. The building was eventually sold in 1964 to a general merchants company.
