The Harding Plaza Shopping Center opened on November 2, 1979 with Dennis Christopher in “Breaking Away” The Harding Plaza Cinema was its theatre and appears to have closed on March 5, 2000 with “Anna and the King” splitting with “Any Given Sunday”. It was converted to a retail store which was still in business in the 21st Century.

Harding Plaza was famously a dollar cinema back in the 80’s and 90’s. My friends' parents usually took them there since tickets were cheaper than renting the same movie from a video store.
