Arcade Electric Theatre

Located in Cowdenbeath, Fifeshire. The Arcade Hall was built in the mid-1890’s and was used for concerts and meetings. It became a live theatre which was accessed through an arcade. It was operating as a cinema prior to 1923 when it was named Arcade Electric Theatre. By 1934 it was operated by John M. Slora and had been equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system.

The Arcade Electric Theatre was still open in 1954, but was destroyed by fire later that year.
