Stutson Theatre

Located in Irondequoit to the north of Rochester, NY. Jo-Mor Theatres chain launched the Stutson Theatre within the newly created Stutson Bridge Plaza Shopping Center on June 27, 1967 with a benefit screening of Lee Marvin in “The Dirty Dozen”. The facility began to struggle moving or dropping matinees from the weekday schedule. The single-screen theatre closed fulfilling a 20-year leasing agreement with a double feature of “POW: The Escape” and “Naked Cage” on May 8, 1986.
