Located at ther corner of Union Street and Church Street. The Atheneum & Masonic Hall opened in November 1903. The Atheneum was a 500-seat theatre & community center, while the Masonic Hall was an upstairs Masonic Lodge. There was also a bowling alley in the basement. The Atheneum began screening movies in 1907. Live shows were presented as well as movies until April 30, 1924 when the building was destroyed by fire.
