In the final act of the Act III theatre circuit prior to being overtaken, this multiscreen theatre opened within Kansas City’s Ameristar Casino on July 2, 1997. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) would take over Act III teaming with United Artists to take on Regal Cinemas circuit under which this theatre currently operates.

This closed in July 2022 per google comments for this cinema.
Can confirm this theater is now permanently closed. :(
At the time of closure it had 7.1 digital sound and Sony 4k digital projection. At least one but I think a few of the auditoriums were originally built to THX spec. It was a nice quiet low traffic location to watch a movie. Shallow stadium seating with attractive dark green velour seating.
