Located in Bangalore (aka Bengaluru). The Kapali Theatre was opened on 16th February 1968 with “This Is Cinerama”. It was the first and only 3-projector Cinerama theatre to be built in India.

It was closed on 12th October 2017 to be demolished to build a commercial development.
