Located in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Originally built as a corrugated-iron roof skating rink. In 1910 alterations were made to convert it into the Henley Picture Palace which opened on 9th June 1911. It programmed pictures and variety.

In June 1929 it was modernised and became the New Palace Cinema. A Western Electric(WE) sound system had been installed. The New Palace Cinema was closed in 1936 and was demolished to build the new Regal Cinema on the site.

Did County Cinemas acquire the closed cinema, or acquire it open before closing it for the Regal to be built? The text is unclear.
