The Texas Grand Theatre was opened by 1908. It originally had a narrow entrance between an office and a barber shop, with the auditorium at the rear of those buildings. By 1920 the office and barber shop had been demolished and the theatre had gained a new frontage. It had closed by 1926 and by 1929 it had been demolished and a bank had been built on the site.
