This Cinema City multiplex is located on the third (top) floor of the Novy Smichov shopping centre. This is situated across the River Vitava from Prague city centre, near Metro stop Andel on Line B. It is only a short distance from CineStar Andel, which also has 12 screens.
Cinema City opened in 2001. All auditoriums are air-conditioned, with one having the second largest screen in Prague (186.7 m2), after IMAX. Barco projection equipment is used, in conjunction with Dolby sound.
