Located on Old Compton Street, in the Soho district of London’s West End, adjacent to the Swiss Tavern pub (since 1986 a gay bar ‘Comptons of Soho’). The Blue Film Cinema Club was opened as a ‘members only’ adult cinema on August 23, 1978. The films were uncensored. It was closed around 1985.

The building has had many uses over the years, in 2017 it is Poppies Fish & Chips Restaurant.

The Blue Film Cinema Club opened on August 23rd, 1978 on a membership basis. The first ad has been posted in the photo section. Last mentioned in 1985.
