The UA Capitol actually closed during the first week of May 1997.

opened with 3 screens on July 8th, 1977. Grand opening ad posted. Six screens on August 5th, 1983, and closed in 1996. grand opening ad posted

I can tell you that in the mid to late 80’s it was a discount house. I think it was only on Tuesday but it may have been the whole week.
