The Lakewood Heights Theatre was opened by 1929 when it had 250 seats. It was still open in 1936, but had closed by 1937. By 1940 it had been renamed Lakewood Theatre and was listed with 165 seats (same through to 1943). By 1950 the Lakewood Theatre was listed with 625 seats and was still open in 1957.
