IMC Carlow

Located in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre. The eight-screen IMC first opened as the Omniplex in 2009 and was taken over by IMC in 2014. It began a full refurbishment in January 2015 totalling 1 million, and unveiled its Galactic screen with Atmos sound that April. The Galactic was the first of the company’s such screens and at 60’ x 25’ became the largest in the country overtaking the Savoy Cinema in Dublin. The installation includes nearly 40 speakers in the auditorium. The cinema has stadium seating in all screens. The Fairgreen Shopping Centre itself opened in 2002.
