A theatre opening in the silent-era likely on a 20-year lease at S. 21st Street at Market Street by Pohlman and Zimmerman from May 17, 1914 until 1918. P&Z also operated the Mutascope Theatre downtown. In 1918 it was sold to Thomas James. The name was changed to the New Comet Theatre likely in a policy change to an African-American theatre. Later demolished.
