The Theato was a conversion of Catogni’s & Sanders' restaurants. It was opened April 9, 1907 by Howell Graham & H.W. McGeary of Chattanooga. It was closed in July 1907.
Taken over by new operators, it reopened July 13, 1907 as Edison’s Paradise Theatre. It was closed in October 1907.
