The Globe Theatre with its neighbor, the Horn and Hardhart Automat and Well’s Hats. The new build theatre in 1914 wasn’t bold enough as a theatre or as a structure in booming Philly. It would be replaced by the 24-story deco Market Street National Bank Building in 1930 that became the Residence Inn.
