The Pike Theatre was opened by April 4, 1907 when it was screening animated pictures (no vaudeville!). It was closed on June 24, 1907 and was ‘For Sale’. It became the Orpheum Theatre on December 9, 1907 presenting vaudeville by the National Concert Company with Baby Violet as the star. It was operated by J.B. Ogden. This was another short lived venture.
It reopened as the New Star Theater on March 20, 1908 and was still operating in 1909. It had closed by 1914.
